2020-2021: Not your average Stewardship Renewal!

The Sermon on the Mount (the Beatitudes) is a "blueprint" of how to be blessed, to be objectively happy and to become the saints we are called to be. Living out our Catholic faith prayerfully, responsibly and generously is how we share in the life of the "blessed." Although 2020 has been tremendously challenging for each of us and our beloved parish, in 2021 we must "rejoice and be glad" because we have Jesus!

Our 2020-2021 Stewardship Renewal (when we make our annual plan for prayer, service and generosity) is not an ordinary Stewardship Renewal! Instead, we are looking for everyone to participate, in some way, because everyone can. Everyone can offer prayer, they can contemplate how to serve – we have many new ministries planned for 2021 – and can offer their generosity as they are able. Have a new idea, a ministry or work that you would like to have in our parish? Tell us. 2021 is the year that we want to "rejoice and be glad!" and we can do this with our Renewal.

What are the steps? First, we gratefully consider all that God has given us: our very existence, our family, our career and skills; all of our resources. Next, we prayerfully decide what our personal response will be to God’s goodness, and we fill out the Renewal Form - there is a space to offer your ideas as well! We plan how we will pray gratefully, serve responsibly and give generously.

If you are struggling with your faith at this time or need help from your church in some way, please email us at info@stjmod.com and we will do our best to help you.
